Home Remedies For Glowing Skin

Here are some of the worst skin care mistakes that you might be making daily.

These methods won’t work unless you stop some unhealthy practices (if you happen to be doing them) that may be destroying your skin.

Even you are using the best home remedies for glowing skin, you wont get results if you don’t change certain habits.

Here are some of the worst skin care mistakes that you might be making daily.

Having your makeup on while sleeping

After partying all night it’s very tempting to just take off your clothes and go straight to your bed. But sleeping with heavy makeup on your skin is one of the worst things you can do. Not only does it leads to clogged pores but also premature aging and no one wants to age too fast (if at all).

Using very hot water to wash your face

Did you know that using hot water to wash your face can damage your blood vessels? Yes, it does. So instead just wash your face with lukewarm water and you’ll be good.

Exfoliating your skin too often or too little

This is a very important part of skin care as it removes dead cells from your skin. But you have to make sure that you’re not overdoing it. It’s recommended that you exfoliate about 1 or 2 times a week.

If you have dry skin just do it once a week or once every 10 days.

Letting oil stay in your hair all day

This is something that many are guilty of. But it’s a very bad practice. The purpose of putting oil in your hair is to massage the scalp to enhance your hair growth.

Leaving oil in your hair all day will only do several bad things like attract dirt, clog your pores and will cause hair loss. Make sure to massage your scalp properly leave the oil for an hour and then wash it off.

Not moisturizing because of the fear of acne

This is one of the biggest skincare myths. It’s actually not true because not moisturizing the skin can cause the skin to produce excessive oil.

When the skin starts to produce so much oil it will lead to acne breakout. So all you have to do is make sure that you use a oil-free moisturizer and make sure that your skin is well hydrated.

Home Remedies For Glowing Skin :

Olive oil, coffee and honey

Coffee face mask is one of the most fantastic ways to inject life into a lifeless and dull skin. Simply combine coffee and olive oil with some honey and you have a great mask to rejuvenate your skin with nature’s best antioxidants and hydration.

You will apply a paste of one spoon of Honey, 5 spoons of coffee and one tablespoon of olive oil on your face and neck. Ensure that you leave it on for 30 minutes then wash it off. After you’ve washed your face you’ll notice how refreshing and glowing your skin is.

Do this 2 times a week to maximize the results.

Coconut milk and saffron

Saffron is one of the  ultimate home remedies for glowing skin, followed by coconut milk that was and is still used for moisturizing.

First thing to do is boil a pinch of saffron in a cup of fresh coconut milk for about 5 to 10 minutes. Allow it to cool and thicken within that time frame also. Make sure to apply this on your face for about 10 minutes. You will notice that your skin’s natural glow is enhanced. All chemical free!

Mango

Mango is one of the best antioxidant sources on the planet. It is so effective that you don’t have to combine it with any thing else. It’s that powerful for your skin! Apply the flesh/juice of a mango on your face and wash it off after 10 minutes with lukewarm water. This will leave your skin well moisturized and silky smooth.

Strawberry and rose skin mask

If you notice that your skin is dull, distressed, especially if you are exposed to the sun a lot then this one will work great for you.

Wrinkles

If you have any wrinkles you can use some turmeric in combination with some other ingredients to get rid of your wrinkles problem.

Mix some raw milk with some tomato juice, rice powder and turmeric powder together into a paste. After you’ve made the paste apply it so that it dries on your skin. What happens is that lactic acid which is present in milk will help to fight off and peel off the dead skin cells that is on your face. This is no doubt one of the best home remedies for glowing skin.

You can also combine honey and turmeric, make it into a paste and apply it to your face and neck in order to exfoliate skin and keep your pores in check.
