Acne Oatmeal Cure:

Cook one serving (2 tablespoon) of oatmeal and allow it to cool down at room temperature. Now add 2 tablespoons of honey and mix it well. Once the mixture is mixed well and has been cooled completely, apply it on your face. Cover your entire face concentrating more on affected area. Let it stay for 20-25 minutes and then rinse off with cold water.

Dandruff Oatmeal Remedy:

To get rid of dandruff and to prevent it from coming back you can use oatmeal. Simply apply oatmeal to your scalp and hair and massage it well for 5-10 minutes. Leave it overnight and wash off with shampoo next morning. It helps in taking out unwanted dandruff flakes and it also moisturizes scalp.

Dry Skin Oatmeal Bath:

Oats are packed with the goodness of vitamin E so it nourishes skin and prevents dry skin. Add instant oatmeal to your bath and use wet oats to rub on hands and other dry areas instead of using soap. You can also use mixture of raw milk and oats to massage your skin to get nourished skin.

Oily Hair Oatmeal Mask:

To get rid of oily hair use oatmeal as it absorbs excess oil. Mix one cup of ground oatmeal with one cup of raw milk and apply this on your scalp and hair. Cover your head with shower cap and let it stay for 30 minutes. Then rinse off using regular shampoo.

Dry shampoo:

You can also use ground oats to eliminate excess oil from your scalp, which will give you an extra day or two between washings

Sunburn Treatment:

To treat severe sunburn you can apply oatmeal for instant relief. Cook oatmeal s instructed on the pack but add extra water so that the consistency becomes runny and is easy to apply. After cooling, apply it on affected area and let it stay for 30 minutes, don’t run your skin.


Poison Ivy or Chicken Pox:

It can treat poison ivy and even chicken pox. Take two cups of ground oatmeal, blend it in blender and then put it in bucket. Now run water and fill the bucket. Let it stay for 30-45 minutes so that oats gets mixed with the water. Now take bath with this water but do not rub your skin as it can cause irritation. It’s a good way to treat skin diseases as oats are anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant. Oats help in the healing of psoriasis lesion owing to its anti-inflammatory nature.

Deep Clean Pores:

It  is great at removing excess oil and dirt from the body and face. Their cleansing and exfoliating properties make oatmeal a powerful ingredient in many face scrubs, cleansers and shampoos. Plus, it has strong anti-inflammatory properties and can be used to relieve itchy, uncomfortable skin.  Mix a small amount of uncooked, rolled oats with warm water in a bowl, massage onto face and body, and rinse.
