This pineapple coconut sugar scrub takes just 5 minutes to make and it’s actually a play on pina colada, so it’ll smell like everyone’s favorite tropical cocktail!
This pineapple coconut sugar scrub is amazing at sloughing off dead skin cells, leaving you with glowing, radiant, extra smooth skin. I love using this in the summer because it smells very tropical-like, BUT I also really enjoy using it during the cold winter months since it reminds me of summer and takes my mind away from the snow!
DIY Pineapple Coconut Sugar Scrub
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup coconut oil
- pineapple fragrance oil
- yellow food coloring (optional)
- In a medium bowl, mix together your white sugar and coconut oil until blended well.
- Add in your pineapple oil and yellow food coloring. Mix well.
- Scoop out into a clean jar and it’s ready to use!
How to Use the Pineapple Coconut Sugar Scrub
Use this scrumptious scrub all over your body while in the shower, focusing on rough areas such as elbows and knees. Rub the scrub in slow circular motions, and rinse off. Pat dry, and you’re done! You may not even need a moisturizer since coconut oil is already super rich and moisturizing. Make sure you don’t use it every day as this can dry out the skin, but rather keep it to 2-3 times a week. Happy scrubbing!
