Vegetables in baby food

 

Vegetables are the first foods introduced during food diversification of the baby. But when put on the menu? How much? Which to choose? Follow the guide.

The introduction of fruit and vegetables in the baby food will optimize intake of vitamins C and E and beta-carotene or pro-vitamin B3. It is best to start with the vegetable and wait at least 2 weeks to incorporate fruits. If we do otherwise, baby may prefer fruits because of their sweet taste, and eschew vegetables.

At what age to introduce vegetables?
