Why proteins are important

Proteins are  one of the important food ingredients in the human body that  are made of core and non-essential amino acids.

Proteins have  a great importance because it contains vital amino acids which are useful for the growth and health of the body, and they are the most suitable food for the construction of the tissue, which is essential in muscle formation in the body. It is also important to build the skin, bones, and maintain them in good health. Also,  they  contain carbon, nitrogen, hydrogen and oxygen, and also contain some of the iron and phosphorus.

We can get protein from two  sources:

The animal protein  : meat, poultry, and seafood such as fish, eggs, and dairy products, including milk, cheese and yogurt.

The vegetable  protein : grains such as wheat, rice, corn, beans, pulses, lentils, beans, white and others.

The best source of protein is cheese, fish, meat, milk, and they are   called (full of protein) because they contain adequate amounts of all the essential amino acids, which contribute to make new protein in the body.

The (incomplete protein) are the one  that lack one or more amino acids. We can  find in grains, legumes, nuts, vegetables and fruits.

Type of proteins:

Simple Proteins: which is found in eggs, corn oil, and they are  getting hydrolyzed and the proportion of amino acids which are good.

Compound Proteins:  It is a unity between a food items  and inorganic molecules with protein.

Derivative Proteins : It  is decomposed  by heat, and it breaks down into derivatives containing amino acids.

The benefits of proteins:

They help to form red blood cells.

They  are building new bone tissue, and it  is working to renew consumed tissue.

They  help in the digestion process.

They  are a source of calories.
